31 January 2022

Tjaden, a dewatering company with more than 126 years of experience in groundwater management has made a major investment in new pumps. The result is a great order for the delivery of twenty-five electric wellpoint pumps. The superior technology and low noise level of the PT150 were the key factors in opting for the BBA Pumps.

The Dutch dewatering company is part of Hölscher Wasserbau GmbH which has an enormous pump fleet at its disposal. However, the demand for dewatering projects is so strong that many electric pumps are constantly hired out, which has led to the decision to invest in further capacity.

What was the reason for choosing BBA Pumps?

Tjaden did not want to take any risks when selecting the 4 kW electric PT150 piston pumps. “We have made extensive evaluations between the various suppliers of wellpoint dewatering pumps. The technology of the silent drive, the high pump efficiency and the perfect finish were the deciding factors which led us to choosing BBA Pumps,” says Arjan de Kreij the Tjaden equipment manager.

The pumps were delivered in batches and directly shipped to various construction projects in the western part of the Netherlands. The photo was taken in the port of Amsterdam.
