Prominent visit from Malaysia at the BBA Pumps factory

With climate change, flooding is becoming a global topic. In the past, we mainly built emergency pumps for the Dutch Water Boards. Nowadays, the interest comes from all over the world.

A good example is shown in the picture. We recently had the honor of welcoming the Ministry of Environment and Water from Malaysia. A delegation of prominent members is currently travelling through Europe to gather knowledge on water treatment, flooding and flood protection.

One of the highlights of the mission was a visit to the BBA Pumps factory in Apeldoorn. The aim was to gather information on mobile pumps for use during floods. "The interest was great, we started with a presentation on the flooding projects we have done in recent years. This was followed by a factory tour and a demonstration of high flow pumps on the premises." Says Martijn Kleine Head of International Sales.
